At JR Home Watch Services, LLC we provide Home Watch Services to our seasonal and absentee neighbors to assure that your home is visited and inspected on a regular basis to your specifications. Our focus is on courteous, personalized, and professional attention to our customers needs.  During our visits, we check a myriad of items and provide basic maintenance services.  Details of each inspection visit are communicated to our neighbors to assure that everyone has an updated and documented status of the home and that continuous peace of mind regarding the care of their home is conveyed.

We will walk through the inside and around the outside of your home and grounds.  We check your home for security, maintenance, and system issues.  Inside, we will check for roof leaks, skylight leaks, window leaks, broken seals on windows, breakage or security problems of doors and windows, lighting problems, air and heat adjustments/monitoring according to seasons, thermostat and alarm battery replacement, bug and rodent problems, running of water in sink traps, flushing of toilets, checking for plumbing leaks or problems, appliance monitoring, and checking of hot water heaters.

Outside, JR Home Watch Services, LLC will check for security problems, monitor landscaping, put delivered packages inside, pick up flyers, papers or small debris, and start your automobile if requested.  If problems are detected, we will work quickly with you for an efficient resolution.  Rest assured, we will always represent your best interest.

We can also prepare your house for your return by arranging for a cleaning service, opening your storm shutters, and even stocking your refrigerator.  You decide the level of service for us to provide.  Do you have a guest staying in your second home?  We can arrange for a cleaning service before your guests arrive or after they leave.

Insurance Coverage Are you covered completely?

  If your home is unoccupied for 30 days or more your insurance policy may not cover damages. There are several basic policies that may or may not cover charges for any repairs if pipes burst or thieves/vandals damage your property.  Storm damage may not be covered if it is not discovered within 30 days of the occurrence.

 Mold and Water Damage

  Water-related damages may not be covered by homeowners insurance.  Insurance companies may go back and re-underwrite the policy.  Any house that has had a major water claim in the last three years, they may non-renew.  Not because it has mold, but because it might.
